• we first discuss the manual way, if you’re using windows with chrome, then you’re very likely to fail the automatical way without linux virtual machine(if you use linux vm, skip the manual part).

• open youtube and click the extension, then export all

• paste this cookies.txt file to where you extract the executable

• use yt-dlp or open terminal at the dir you extract the executable and use ./yt-dlp.exe, I use yt for customized short-cut. this method should work in most cases, but not 100% guaranteed, like the snapshot

• btw, in windows with chrome your automatic approach is bound to fail

• and changing browser(also quit and login youtube again) may still fail

• if using manual cookies won’t work, you need to use the linux vm then

Automatic

• install the linux version in your vm

• login to youtube with your browser

• simply type command in terminal and it’s done (you may download to your shared dir[cd to that dir], so you can access in windows directly)

• verify the content (another one for demonstration, for the last one only has 2K at best)

• and that’s all
